Summer may be winding down, but the river fun is far from over! From paddling by moonlight to sipping local wine on the water, there are plenty of ways to soak up the season before we say goodbye to summer.

Whether you’re planning a last-minute getaway or looking for an excuse to come back, here’s a roundup of what’s happening on and around the Pigeon River for the rest of the Summer paddling season!

Full Moon Paddle – Saturday, August 9th

Experience the magic of paddling under the stars! Our Full Moon Paddle is a quiet, beautiful float that starts at dusk and finishes under the moonlight. This is one of our most unique trips of the year, and spots fill fast! You must register in advance for this event so that we know to expect you after normal business hours.

Sip & Float with Acres Away Winery – Sunday, August 17th

Back by popular demand! Enjoy a Sunday wine tasting and vineyard tour with Acres Away Winery, our friends and partners in Ashley, Indiana, followed by a laid-back Sunday float on the river. Our exclusive, small-batch River Wine will be flowing, along with other local favorites!

Labor Day Weekend Boat Sale – Days & Time TBD

Looking for your own kayak or canoe? We’ll be clearing out part of our rental fleet over Labor Day Weekend! This is your chance to score a great deal on used boats

Pigeon River Festival – Saturday, September 27th

The Pigeon River Festival is a celebration of community, conservation, and the beautiful river we call home. The day will feature:

Final Paddle Day of the 2025 Season – Sunday, October 5th
