Our Skoolie Glamping Bus includes a campsite with electric & water hookup, picnic table, and fire ring with grill grate. Inside the bus, guests will find a refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishes & utensils, coffee maker, and toaster oven/air fryer for a cozy glamping experience. The bus also features a restroom with stand-up shower & toilet & multiple storage cabinets including one full-height closet.
Sleeping arrangements include 1 Queen bed, 1 fold-out futon couch, and 2 slim twin bunk beds (72” x 26”), accommodating up to 6 guests total. Please note: linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are NOT included. Guests should plan to bring their own bedding.
A 2-night minimum stay is required for all Friday/Saturday bookings, holiday weekends, and holidays.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy
SKOOLIE RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICIES
- FULL payment is required at the time of reservation.
- Reservation changes and cancellations may be made up until 30 days prior to your reservation start date.
- Cancellations made MORE THAN 30 days prior to arrival may qualify for a credit toward a future stay.
- NO CARD OR CASH REFUNDS will be provided if any changes or cancellations are made on the Skoolie.
- NO pets are allowed inside the Skoolie at any time.
- Smoking or vaping inside the Skoolie is prohibited.
- Guests are responsible for any damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, smoking violations, or misuse of the Skoolie during their stay.
- Trading Post Outfitters reserves the right to charge the card on file for repair costs, replacement costs, additional cleaning fees, or policy violations discovered after checkout.
- Excessive messes, stains, odors, trash left behind, or evidence of smoking/vaping/pets inside the Skoolie may result in additional cleaning or damage charges.
- Guests must leave the Skoolie in generally clean and orderly condition upon departure.
- Please help us keep this unique experience enjoyable for future guests!
- Failure to follow policies may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
Campground Rules
Campground Rules & Skoolie Details
- CHECK-IN time is 3:00 p.m. EST
- CHECK-OUT time is 11:00 a.m. EST
- QUIET TIME is 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. and is strictly enforced. Non-compliance will result in eviction with no refund.
- There is a 2 vehicle limit per standard site. There is no overflow parking.
- Please respect your neighboring campers and their families.
- No loud music, and all music off at 11:00 p.m.
- Generators are NOT allowed.
- No vulgar, offensive language.
- NO FIREWORKS of any kind are allowed in the campground.
- All vehicles are to be parked and remain parked after 10:00pm.
- All cars must have a car tag pass.
- All visitors at the Trading Post must register at the office and get a VISITOR CAR TAG before proceeding into the campground.
- Visitors MUST depart by 10:00pm
- Non paddling visitors will be assessed a $5/person/day visitor’s fee.
- No illegal drugs of any kind. Violators will be reported to local authorities.
- Storm shelter is in bath house, open 24 hours.
- Campground speed limit is 5 MPH.
- Please do not move the fire rings.
- No cutting of trees or marring of branches.
- A dumpster is provided for bagged trash disposal.
- Please clean your campsite upon departure. Failure to do so will result in being assessed a $50 cleaning fee.
- Recycling containers for aluminum cans are provided.
- Vaccinated & socially friendly pets are welcome but must be kept in your campsite & on a leash.
- Campground pond fishing is ok but is catch & release only.
- The playground is for children only. Children must be supervised by an adult and play is at own risk.
- No lifeguard is on duty, swim at own risk.

I went camping at the trading Post with my grandpa last year twice experience was phenomenal the friendliness of the staff the amount of room we had at our campsite it was beautiful pigeon River was one of the cleanest Rivers I have ever seen…
…The new owners have done a great job taking over and have made several upgrades to the property, equipment, etc…Camp sites are spacious, bathrooms/showers are clean, playground is nice, and it is safe. It’s just a great place for a day visit or camping for the weekend.
